Warren Shepard

Warren Shepard is Co-Founder of Control Seat, an AI-native industrial systems integrator building modern SCADA and control software to replace legacy industrial infrastructure.
Warren is a Computer Science and Mathematics major at Dartmouth College (Class of 2026), where he developed research interests in mechanistic interpretability of large language models.
Warren identified the opportunity for Control Seat through firsthand experience with outdated industrial control software during his internships at SpaceX (Starlink division) and Microsoft (security division).
Warren co-founded Control Seat in January 2026 alongside fellow Dartmouth student Jack Grodnick, and the duo secured a coveted spot in Y Combinator's Summer 2026 cohort, which accepts roughly 2 percent of applicants.
Control Seat received $500,000 in seed funding from Y Combinator and is positioned to disrupt a massive industrial automation market by delivering AI-powered SCADA systems up to 10x faster than traditional integrators.
