Wei Li, Ph.D., is Interim CEO at QuantX Biosciences, a computationally driven drug discovery company, and Founding Partner at Creacion Ventures, a life sciences venture capital firm.

Wei earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Harvard University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. He previously worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Baird Venture Partners, and served as Managing Partner at 6 Dimensions Capital.

Wei has successfully founded or been involved in founding multiple biotechnology companies including Innovent Biologics, CStone Pharmaceuticals, Ocumension Therapeutics, and Dewpoint Therapeutics. He has first-authored numerous scientific publications in journals including Science and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

Wei led QuantX's oversubscribed $85 million Series B financing in February 2026, co-led by LAV and Sanofi Ventures, bringing total funding to $130 million. He serves as Chairman at CStone Pharmaceuticals and holds board positions at multiple biotech companies including Kymera Therapeutics and Frontera Therapeutics.

Under Wei's leadership, QuantX is advancing best-in-class oral small molecule inhibitors for STAT6 and IL-17 toward clinical trials. His portfolio companies include multiple publicly traded biotechnology firms, and he has invested in successful ventures across immunology, oncology, and precision medicine.
