Will Messina is Co-Founder and CEO of GrailPay, a fintech infrastructure company building the risk and intelligence layer for bank payments, enabling fintechs, payment platforms, and financial institutions to process ACH transactions safely and instantly.

Will studied Finance and Computer Science at Boston College, where he launched GrailPay while still in college, driven by a deep curiosity about how money moves and where risk hides in financial systems.

Will pivoted GrailPay from a B2C pay-by-bank experience to a B2B risk and payments infrastructure platform in 2024 after identifying the real opportunity deeper in the payments stack. His conviction that risk, not payments, is the true differentiator shapes GrailPay's entire product philosophy.

Will leads product vision, fundraising, and key customer partnerships, staying close to engineering and risk to drive GrailPay's competitive edge. Under his leadership, GrailPay raised $6.7M in Seed funding led by Construct Capital, with participation from Commerce Ventures, Broadhaven Ventures, Soma Capital, and Grasshopper Bank.

GrailPay now powers ACH risk infrastructure for over 10,000 businesses, enabling real-time bank account pre-screening and instant KYC/KYB onboarding that cuts verification delays from hours to seconds. The company targets the ACH network, which moves over $86 trillion annually in the U.S.
