Witold de La Chapelle is Co-Founder at Standout, a YC-backed agentic hiring marketplace that deploys autonomous AI agents to match top startup talent with high-growth companies without spam or cold outreach.

Witold holds an MS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and built distributed, cloud-native, and ML-driven systems at Dropbox, Samsara, and Chime over a nine-year engineering career.

He previously founded Zarobky, a Polish job-market intelligence platform that scaled to approximately 100k monthly users and aggregated tens of thousands of compensation data points, demonstrating deep product and data engineering instincts.

At Standout, Witold co-leads the technical vision alongside co-founder Alexis Aftalion, building an AI-native marketplace where talent remain fully anonymous until they accept an intro, and companies pay only on a successful hire.

Within its first month, Standout onboarded 10,000 plus builders and 60 companies, generating over 100 curated introductions, and is now backed by Y Combinator's P26 batch, serving startups from pre-seed through Series B.
