Yaad Chen is Co-Founder and CEO of Aerium Systems, an Israeli deep-tech company building the intelligent infrastructure layer for next-generation unmanned autonomy.

Chen served in the Israel Air Force and gained hands-on industry experience as Workshop and Integration Manager at Percepto and as a UAV Developer at Aeronautics Group, teaching himself electronics and software along the way.

Driven by firsthand frustration with the fragmented drone ecosystem, Chen recognized that getting drone components to work together could take weeks or months, and set out to create a unified solution.

At Aerium, Chen leads the development of an integrated suite of mission computers, flight controllers, GPS, communications, and power management hardware, all designed to speak a common language at both electrical and mechanical levels.

Aerium's unified avionics architecture enables seamless interoperability across air, land, and maritime platforms, with TAU Ventures backing the company as it scales to serve defense, commercial, and industrial autonomy markets.
