Yahia Bakour is the Founder and CEO of Context.dev, a Y Combinator-backed API platform that gives AI agents and applications real-time access to structured web data through a single integration.

Yahia graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston University and honed his engineering skills as an SDE2 at Amazon, serving as tech lead on a tier-1 retail checkout platform, before becoming Principal SWE and Manager at Sunrun.

A serial entrepreneur at heart, Yahia previously co-founded StockAlarm.io, scaling it to over 225K users and 100K+ daily notifications before a successful acquisition, and was later featured on the IndieHackers podcast and Confluence.vc for his work.

Context.dev, formerly Brand.dev, evolved from a brand data API into a full web context layer, offering capabilities including URL scraping, brand asset extraction, sitemap crawling, and transaction descriptor resolution with typed SDKs for TypeScript, Python, and Ruby.

Accepted into Y Combinator Summer 2026 as a solo founder, Yahia grew Context.dev to 210+ paying customers and secured partnerships with leading companies including Mintlify, Klarna, and over 250 agentic product teams globally.
