Yiding Song

Yiding Song (Vincent) is Co-Founder of Waddle Labs, a Y Combinator-backed startup building AI agents that write code to control robots via a simple API and natural language prompts.
Originally from Hong Kong, Yiding is a Harvard College student concentrating in CS and Physics, and previously conducted research at MIT's Research Science Institute building multimodal models for astrophysics at the IAIFI under Prof. Jesse Thaler.
Yiding's research background spans machine learning, neurosymbolic systems, and cognition, with published work on large-scale graph structures and a cited body of academic research from Harvard College.
At Waddle Labs, Yiding co-built an LLM-powered robotics control platform that enables agents to accumulate and share parametrized skills, scaling robot intelligence with each new foundation model generation.
Waddle Labs is part of Y Combinator's Summer 2026 batch, and its agents have demonstrated cross-task skill transfer and multi-robot coordination, positioning the company at the frontier of agentic robotics.
