Yoav Sagi

Prof. Yoav Sagi is Co-Founder of Q-Factor, a Tel Aviv-based neutral atom quantum computing company, and serves as Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
Sagi built his academic career as a leading authority in neutral-atom manipulation, conducting research at JILA and the University of Colorado before joining the Technion faculty.
A graduate of Israel's elite Talpiot program, Sagi brings deep expertise in quantum gases, atomic physics, quantum optics, and metrology, with his work cited over 1,580 times in academic literature.
At Q-Factor, Sagi co-founded the company alongside Profs. Nir Davidson and Ofer Firstenberg (Weizmann Institute) and Dr. Guy Raz, combining decades of foundational atomic physics research to commercialize a breakthrough neutral atom quantum computing architecture.
Q-Factor raised $24M in seed funding backed by NFX, TPY Capital, Intel Capital, and Korea Investment Partners, targeting a scalable path to over one million qubits and positioning Israel as a global leader in quantum hardware.
