Yoland Yan

Yoland Yan is Co-Founder and CEO at ComfyUI, a node-based workflow platform for generative AI that gives creators control over image, video, 3D, and audio generation. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Economics from New York University.
Before ComfyUI, Yoland worked as a Machine Learning Software Engineer at Google and was previously associated with Techstars as a Hackstar.
ComfyUI raised $30 million at a $500 million valuation in April 2026, led by Craft Ventures with participation from Pace Capital, Chemistry, and TruArrow. Yoland announced a $1M grant to empower developers and creatives to train open-source visual models.
ComfyUI has over 4 million users and has become such a necessary tool that ComfyUI artist or engineer is now listed as a job title on studio job boards. Netflix listed ComfyUI as a job requirement roughly 1.5 to 2 years ago.
ComfyUI sees approximately 50,000 downloads per day for local installations and features 60,000+ community-built nodes and extensions. Agencies like Silverside AI used ComfyUI to develop SVEDKA's 2026 Super Bowl commercial, the first primarily AI-generated Super Bowl ad.
