Yossi Barishev

Yossi Barishev is Co-Founder and CEO of Way Security, an Israeli cybersecurity startup building an AI-powered, agentic platform to automate enterprise identity and access management (IAM) operations. He is recognized by outlets including Business Insider, NYTech Media, and NewsBlaze as a leader shaping the future of cybersecurity.
Yossi studied at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, then built deep expertise in enterprise security at Sygnia, where he advised Fortune 500 organizations on complex IAM projects and led some of the world's most sophisticated cyber incident response efforts. He later served as Director of Security Innovation at Fireblocks, shaping security architecture for a leading digital asset custody platform.
Yossi co-founded Way Security after experiencing firsthand how enterprises overspend on IAM implementation, with operational costs running three to five times the price of the software itself. His core insight is that organizations do not need more identity tools but a smarter way to operationalize the ones they already own.
Way Security raised a $20 million Seed round co-led by Insight Partners and Glilot Capital, and is already serving Fortune 500 companies, global healthcare organizations, and financial institutions. The company launched out of stealth in 2025 with a 30-person team and plans to expand its U.S. presence.
Way Security's platform eliminates the costly consulting layer traditionally required to deploy and maintain IAM systems, targeting a market where services spending dwarfs software licensing. The company is partnering with major identity vendors to help their customers finally cross the implementation finish line.
