Yuichiro Kuwano is VP of Sales & Origination and Senior Executive at PLAID Inc., a Japanese CX platform company providing KARTE, a customer experience SaaS solution. He leads sales initiatives and organizational growth for the company's enterprise solutions.

Before joining PLAID, Yuichiro served as Head of CX Cloud and Executive Officer at Oracle Japan, where he led customer experience strategies and cloud solutions. He also held leadership roles at Microsoft as Marketing & Operations Manager for Cloud, and at Kyriba as Managing Director and VP of Sales & Marketing.

Yuichiro brings over 20 years of direct sales experience in enterprise applications with strong expertise in CRM software and cloud services. He is known for his hunter-type sales approach and has successfully acquired accounts through CxO-level cold calling.

Yuichiro left his executive position at Oracle Japan to join PLAID, where he drives sales growth for KARTE, which serves over 600 companies. PLAID went public on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in December 2020 and operates as a publicly traded company.

Under his sales leadership, PLAID has expanded its customer base across multiple industries including major enterprises like Kansai Electric Power Company and DHC. KARTE has been recognized as a Leader in four categories at ITreview Grid Award 2020 and named Top 50 in Best Software in Japan 2020.
