Zach Dive is Co-Founder and CEO of Adam (YC W25), an AI-powered CAD platform transforming how engineers and designers create 3D models through natural language. He is a Designer-Engineer from London with a multidisciplinary background spanning design, engineering, and entrepreneurship.

Zach completed his Bachelor's in Business and Management at the University of Exeter, where he served as President of the Entrepreneurs Society and organised large-scale hackathons, before earning his Master of Design at UC Berkeley where he researched generative 3D interfaces. He and his co-founders are second-time founders and former employees at major AI startups.

Zach's core thesis is that AI will bring CAD to an entirely new generation of creators and engineers, much like Onshape brought CAD to the cloud. His consumer-first strategy proved prescient, generating over 10 million social media impressions at launch and attracting investor term sheets without a single meeting.

Adam, part of Y Combinator's Winter 2025 batch, raised a $4.1 million seed round led by TQ Ventures, with backing from 468 Capital, Pioneer, Script Capital, and angel investors including Guillermo Rauch of Vercel, who called Adam 'the v0 of CAD.' The company is now expanding from consumer creators into enterprise with a professional-grade CAD copilot.

Adam's text-to-3D launch became one of the most viral debuts in YC W25, attracting tens of thousands of users and growing paid plans. The platform is now live in the Onshape App Store and is actively redefining how the physical world is designed and built.
