Zachary Schwartzman

Zachary Schwartzman is Co-Founder and CEO of Stabyl, a fintech company building institutional-grade foreign exchange liquidity infrastructure for banks, payment service providers, and financial institutions across Africa.
Zachary earned his MBA from the University of Oxford (2021-2022), where conversations with fellow classmates about stablecoin technology sparked the vision for Stabyl. He previously co-founded Moonah Technologies and gained experience at Entrepreneurs First and Founders Factory.
Zachary is driven by the belief that capital should move as fast as information, famously noting that confirming a trade in milliseconds should not require waiting 72 hours for settlement. His approach centers on building compliant, foundational infrastructure in collaboration with regulators rather than rushing to market.
Prior to Stabyl, Zachary served as Co-Founder and CEO of Moonah Technologies and held roles at z19 Capital, Entrepreneurs First, and Founders Factory, building a strong foundation across venture-backed startups and early-stage company building.
Stabyl emerged from stealth in 2026 with a $2.7M pre-seed round led by Konga, targeting Africa's fragmented FX market where Nigeria alone recorded $6.92 billion in net FX inflows in February 2026. The platform is initially focused on the NGN/USD corridor with plans to expand across African currency pairs.
