Zsika Phillip

Zsika Phillip is Co-Founder and CEO at SpotPay, a Y Combinator-backed global borderless neobank enabling cross-border personal finance on stablecoins. SpotPay was founded in 2025 and is part of Y Combinator's Winter 2026 batch.
Zsika served as Lead Engineer and later Product Manager at Google, working on Firebase Authentication, YouTube, and Mobile Ads Platform. He holds a Stanford MBA and is a Purdue Engineer.
Growing up between the Caribbean and Latin America, Zsika experienced firsthand the challenges of cross-border money movement. He was a competitive track-and-field athlete who ran against Usain Bolt, with personal bests of 10.3 in 100M and 21.7 in 200M.
At Google, Zsika started as a Software Engineer on Firebase Authentication before transitioning to Product Management on both the buy-side and sell-side of Google's Mobile Ads Platform. He graduated from Stanford Graduate School of Business (2021-2023) where he also served as a Venture Resident.
SpotPay provides users one account for receiving money from abroad, paying locally, spending globally with the SpotPay card, and earning on balances. The platform addresses the slow and unreliable cross-border payment challenges faced by millions in Latin America and the Caribbean.
