Carecubes is a healthcare solutions company dedicated to eliminating infectious disease transmission in healthcare settings. Its flagship product, the Carecube ISTARI, is an FDA 510(k)-cleared mobile isolation unit that can be deployed in minutes, converting a standard hospital bed into an isolation bed. Developed in partnership with the University of Nebraska Medical Center and supported by DARPA, the CDC, and ASPR, Carecubes flips the traditional infection control model by isolating the pathogen rather than the patient, enabling safe, compassionate bedside care while minimizing PPE use and freeing up negative pressure rooms.
