Alex earned his B.A. in History of Science from Harvard College and previously co-founded Opower in 2007, a data-driven energy efficiency software company he took public in 2014 and later sold to Oracle for $532 million.
A former political strategist and public-opinion analyst, Alex brings a rare blend of behavioral science, data strategy, and mission-driven leadership to complex systemic challenges.
At Carecubes, Alex leads a team backed by DARPA, the CDC, and ASPR, with Series A investors including the CEO of Oscar Health and former CEO of Aetna, closing a $6.5 million round in March 2026.
The Carecube has been adopted by health systems in over 36 communities across 13 states and territories, and Alex serves on the board of the Conservation Lands Foundation.
