Cortical Labs is building a new generation of biological computers by integrating lab-grown human neurons with silicon chips to create Synthetic Biological Intelligence. The company developed DishBrain, which demonstrated that 800,000 neurons could learn to play Pong, and launched CL1, the world's first commercial biological computer. Their technology combines biological neurons with traditional silicon computing to create energy-efficient computing systems that can accelerate medical research, eliminate animal testing, and improve drug discovery.
