IMPACT Drones is a Y Combinator-backed (S26) counter-drone startup offering Air Defense as a Service for critical civilian infrastructure. The company builds autonomous interceptor drones that ship inside sealed, containerized boxes deployable at data centers, power grids, airports, and military bases with no crew required on-site. When sensors detect a hostile drone, an interceptor autonomously launches and physically rams the target using onboard visual navigation that functions even when GPS is jammed, solving the cost asymmetry where legacy missiles cost over $1M per shot against $30K drone threats.
