Jasper Lortije is Co-Founder and CEO of IMPACT Drones (YC S26), a counter-drone company pioneering Air Defense as a Service for critical civilian infrastructure such as data centers, power grids, and airports.

Jasper holds an MSc in Aerospace Engineering from TU Delft and previously founded a Dutch company specializing in GNSS-denied visual navigation systems for autonomous vehicles and drones.

With deep expertise in guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems, Jasper identified the growing asymmetry between cheap offensive drones and prohibitively expensive legacy air defense, and set out to close that gap with scalable, affordable interceptors.

Prior to IMPACT Drones, Jasper co-founded Aerointel, where he built visual navigation and targeting AI for autonomous interceptors, generating $300K in revenue across European defense customers and co-securing a presence at the NATO Summit 2025.

IMPACT Drones launched its flagship Air Defense as a Service offering in August 2026, unveiling two interceptor systems, SABLE and HUNTER, and built a working prototype of SABLE in just two weeks after incorporation.
