OnRe is the world's first fully licensed on-chain reinsurance company, regulated by the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA) under both the Digital Asset Business Act (DABA) and the Insurance Act (IIGB). Formerly known as Nayms, it was relaunched in May 2025 with backing from Ethena Labs, Solana Ventures, and RockawayX. OnRe connects on-chain capital from digital asset allocators to the $750 billion global reinsurance market, offering structured yield products that generate uncorrelated real-world returns in both bull and bear markets. The platform works with leading reinsurance brokers including Guy Carpenter and Howden, and is integrated across Solana DeFi protocols such as Orca and Kamino.
