Dan Roberts is Co-Founder and CEO of OnRe, the world's first fully licensed on-chain reinsurance company, bridging the $750 billion global reinsurance market with blockchain technology.

Dan studied at the University of Bristol and built a track record as a multi-award winning serial entrepreneur with 8 years of startup experience across FMCG, Digital Out of Home, Smart Cities, and Healthcare.

Dan co-founded Nayms in 2019 as a blockchain-native insurance marketplace and spent six years navigating regulatory complexity before relaunching as OnRe in 2025, becoming the first reinsurer approved by the Bermuda Monetary Authority under both DABA and IIGB licenses.

Under Dan's leadership, OnRe secured a $5 million Series A co-led by Forward Industries and RockawayX, and built strategic partnerships with Ethena Labs, Solana Ventures, Guy Carpenter, and Howden to access global reinsurance markets.

OnRe has amassed over $10 million in deployable capital and its ONe LP token generated over $5 million in secondary liquidity within days of launch, connecting on-chain capital to one of the world's most profitable and historically inaccessible industries.
