Runna is an AI-enabled running coaching app that provides personalized training plans for runners of all levels, from first 5K to marathon training. The platform combines coach-led programming with AI to build effective training plans, alongside strength workouts, mobility routines, and nutrition advice. Founded by university friends Dom Maskell and Ben Parker, Runna started as a PDF-based training plan service and evolved into a comprehensive app available in 180+ countries. The company was selected as one of three finalists for Apple's App of the Year in 2024 and was acquired by Strava in April 2025.
