Eemeli Tsupari

Eemeli Tsupari is Co-Founder and CTO at Reduciner, a Finnish deep tech startup converting captured CO2 into sustainable fuels and industrial raw materials using a proprietary thermochemical process.
Eemeli holds a Doctor of Science in Engineering Physics from Aalto University and spent years as a Principal Scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, specializing in energy systems and industrial greenhouse gas reduction.
Eemeli contributed to a radiocarbon monitoring system that won the Venture Cup in 2008, and his research has been cited in IPCC guidelines, reflecting his standing as a recognized voice in climate science.
Prior to Reduciner, Eemeli co-founded CO2Esto and led multiple national and EU research projects at VTT focused on carbon capture, power-to-fuels, and low-carbon industrial technologies.
Reduciner secured EUR 3.6 million in seed funding from Voima Ventures, Lifeline Ventures, and the Mikko Kodisoja Foundation, and is building a 1MW pilot plant in Finland with international expansion targeted before 2030.
