Ethan Cohen-Cole

Ethan Cohen-Cole is the CEO and Co-Founder of Capture6, a climate technology company pioneering integrated direct air capture and water recovery solutions founded in 2021.
Dr. Cohen-Cole holds a BA from Harvard University, a Master's in Public Administration from Princeton, and master's and doctoral degrees in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
He is the lead inventor on Capture6's original patent and brings over 25 years of experience spanning academia, bank supervision, public policy, and entrepreneurship across more than 25 countries.
Prior to Capture6, Dr. Cohen-Cole served as Senior Advisor and Managing Director at Vega Economics, providing financial and economic analysis, and held advisory roles at Solid State Power LLC and board positions at Legal Momentum and El Camino Hospital.
Capture6 has raised $27.5M in Series A funding, announced four water-positive carbon capture facilities across three continents, and secured an $8M+ grant from the California Energy Commission, with Frontier facilitating a pre-purchase of 1,000 tons of carbon removal for Shopify and Stripe.
