Jordan Fain

Jordan Fain is Co-Founder and CEO of Kini, an Indonesian HR-Fintech platform providing on-demand payroll and earned wage access solutions to blue-collar workers across Southeast Asia.
Jordan held senior roles at Uber from early days through IPO, launching Uber in Queensland and scaling Uber Eats Japan into a top 3 market, before leading a global stealth real-estate tech venture.
His time at Uber revealed that shortening payment cycles dramatically improved driver retention and acquisition, a key insight that directly inspired the founding of Kini.
Jordan co-founded Kini in 2021 alongside Indonesia fintech veteran Sidnei Budiman, securing $4.3M in seed funding led by East Ventures with participation from TEN13, OurCrowd, K50 Ventures, and Goodwater Capital.
Kini targets over 180 million underbanked workers in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, providing earned wage access, bill-paying services, and micro-insurance to help employees escape predatory lending cycles.
