Joubin Mirzadegan

Joubin Mirzadegan is Co-Founder and CEO of Roadrunner and a Partner at Kleiner Perkins, where he leads the portfolio operating team. Roadrunner is Kleiner Perkins' first incubation since Glean, building an AI-native CPQ platform to modernize the quote-to-cash stack for enterprise revenue teams.
Joubin holds a B.A. in International Relations and Cultural Anthropology from UC Davis and spent years scaling sales organizations, including growing Palo Alto Networks' cloud business from $2M to over $50M ARR in just four quarters. He joined Kleiner Perkins in 2019 as a go-to-market operating partner, advising portfolio companies like Glean and Windsurf on building repeatable revenue engines.
Joubin is the creator and host of Grit, a top 1% podcast worldwide that he launched as a hiring wedge to connect with elite Chief Revenue Officers. His decade-long obsession with enterprise distribution and how ideas spread, sell, and compound directly shaped the thesis behind Roadrunner.
Prior to Kleiner Perkins, Joubin built and led sales organizations through successful acquisitions at Evident.io (acquired by Palo Alto Networks) and Bracket Computing (acquired by VMware). He also co-founded OpenGov alongside Joe Lonsdale, focused on bringing accountability and efficiency to government operations.
Roadrunner raised $27M across a $5.2M seed led by Kleiner Perkins and a $22M Series A led by Founders Fund, closing its first seven-figure deal within three months of building its prototype. The company is pioneering a new paradigm called PQA (prompt, quote, approve) to replace legacy CPQ tools with AI-driven deal intelligence.
