Prabhdeep Singh Sekhon

Prabhdeep Singh Sekhon is CEO and Co-Founder of Eclipse Energy, a Houston-based clean energy company pioneering subsurface biotechnology to produce low-carbon hydrogen from end-of-life oil fields.
Prab holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calgary, an M.Eng. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, and an MBA with Honors from The Wharton School, where he also competed as an international athlete.
With over 20 years of global experience across energy, climate tech, venture capital, and private equity, Prab is driven by the conviction that clean hydrogen must be both technically innovative and economically pragmatic.
Prior to Eclipse, Prab held senior roles at Hess Corporation, where he contributed to Bakken Play growth, and at NextEra Energy Resources, where he led gas infrastructure innovation and clean technology investment strategy.
Eclipse Energy's proprietary biotechnology targets hydrogen production at $0.50/kg, has completed its first successful field trial of subsurface bio-stimulated hydrogen production, and has secured $6.5M in funding with strategic partnerships with Wood and Weatherford to accelerate global deployment.
