Scot Wingo

Scot Wingo is the CEO and Co-Founder of ReFiBuy, a Raleigh-based agentic commerce optimization platform helping brands and retailers win visibility in AI-driven shopping environments.
Scot attended the University of South Carolina and built his entrepreneurial career across five companies, beginning with Stingray Software in 1995, then AuctionRover.com, before co-founding ChannelAdvisor in 2001, which IPO'd on the NYSE in 2013 and was later acquired for $663 million in 2022.
Recognized as a pioneer in ecommerce infrastructure, Scot has received Ernst and Young's Entrepreneur of the Year award and the NC TECH Beacon Award for Outstanding Achievement, and is widely regarded as a thought leader in agentic commerce.
Scot previously served as Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Get Spiffy (on-demand car care), is a General Partner at Triangle Tweener Fund, and co-hosts the top-ranked Jason and Scot Show ecommerce podcast.
ReFiBuy coined the term Agentic Commerce Optimization (ACO) and raised an oversubscribed $13.6M seed round backed by NewRoad Capital Partners, Ridge Ventures, and Commerce Ventures, with its Commerce Intelligence Engine already deployed by brands such as Steve Madden.
