Wesley George is Co-Founder and COO at Featherless AI, a serverless inference platform democratizing access to over 30,000 open-source AI models for developers and enterprises worldwide.

A technical founder with decades of hands-on software development experience, Wesley studied at the University of Toronto and previously co-founded Proof Data Technology, a Toronto-based digital paperwork platform that was acquired by Daylight Automation in early 2022.

Wesley is a vocal advocate for open AI infrastructure, arguing that the future belongs to many models, not just one, and that access to niche, specialized AI should not be cost-prohibitive.

At Featherless AI, Wesley leads operations and has helped grow the platform into the fastest-growing inference partner on Hugging Face, raising a $5M seed round in 2025 followed by a $20M Series A co-led by AMD Ventures and Airbus Ventures in 2026.

Featherless AI now serves over 30,000 open-source models spanning language, vision, and audio, with infrastructure spanning the EU and US, and a proprietary hot-swapping technique that loads any model into GPU memory in under five seconds.
