Featherless AI
Featherless AI is a serverless AI inference platform that provides instant, affordable, and production-grade access to over 30,000 open-source AI models via API, without requiring users to manage servers or GPU infrastructure. Founded in 2023 and formerly known as Recursal.ai, the company's proprietary hot-swapping technology enables AI models to be loaded in under 5 seconds, dramatically improving GPU utilization and reducing operational costs. Backed by AMD Ventures, Airbus Ventures, BMW i Ventures, Kickstart Ventures, Panache Ventures, and Wavemaker Ventures, Featherless AI is building the neutral, open foundation for enterprise AI independence.
