Diffraqtion
Diffraqtion is an MIT and University of Maryland spinout developing quantum camera platforms for defense, space domain awareness, and Earth observation. Its technology combines quantum imaging and onboard AI to deliver up to 20x higher resolution and 1,000x faster image processing than conventional optical systems, enabling high-precision satellite constellations at a fraction of traditional cost. Backed by Lockheed Martin Ventures, Presidio Ventures, DARPA, and NASA, the company is building toward its first fielded camera and satellite launch in 2028.
