Droppie is a Dutch circular economy startup on a mission to make recycling easy, rewarding, and high-quality. Operating a network of physical one-stop recycling stores combined with a consumer mobile app, Droppie uses AI-powered drop-off machines (the Dropbot) to accept a wide range of materials including plastics, textiles, e-waste, cooking oil, and deposit items. Consumers earn real cash rewards via the app, which can be transferred to their bank account or donated to charity. Droppie partners with municipalities, producers, and organizations such as Verpact, Statiegeld Nederland, WeCycle, PostNL, and the Amsterdam Climate and Energy Fund to build a traceable, high-quality recycling supply chain aligned with European circular economy legislation.
