Skyroot Aerospace is India's first space-tech unicorn and a pioneering private aerospace manufacturer and commercial launch service provider. Founded in 2018 by former ISRO scientists Pawan Kumar Chandana and Naga Bharath Daka, the company develops cost-effective orbital and suborbital launch vehicles for the global small-satellite market. Skyroot made history in November 2022 by launching Vikram-S, India's first privately built rocket, and is now preparing for its first orbital mission using the Vikram-I launch vehicle.
