Western CAM Inc. is a U.S.-based manufacturer of high-performance, cost-competitive lithium iron phosphate (LFP) and lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP) cathode active materials (CAM) for the lithium-ion battery market. Founded to restore domestic U.S. capability in a critical part of the battery supply chain, the company is led by the original innovators behind the most efficient LFP production method in the world. Headquartered in South Portland, Maine, Western CAM is establishing localized manufacturing in both North America and Europe to reduce reliance on offshore supply and support America's energy transition.
