Cliff Ginn is Co-Founder and President of Western CAM Inc., a U.S.-based manufacturer of cathode active materials (CAM) for the lithium-ion battery market, headquartered in South Portland, Maine.
An attorney with 20 years of experience across law, energy policy, finance, and economic development, Cliff built deep expertise in public-private partnerships and strategic advisory before co-founding Western CAM.
Cliff most recently served as General Partner at Potomac Energy Fund, where he managed clean technology investments and advised companies in sectors including nuclear fusion and electric vehicles.
At Western CAM, Cliff leads the charge to deliver the missing link in America's domestic battery supply chain by producing U.S.-compliant LFP and LMFP cathode materials competitive with offshore supply. Under his leadership, the company attracted Bob Galyen, former CTO of CATL, as its first outside board director and investor.
Western CAM has raised $2.65M in seed funding and is actively developing scalable U.S.-based production of LFP and LMFP cathode materials for electric vehicles, grid storage, and energy infrastructure, engaging with customers, policymakers, and partners to advance U.S. battery supply chain resilience.
