Founders
WheelMove is a French assistive technology startup that has developed a patented, clip-on electric power-assist device for manual wheelchairs. The accessory attaches to any standard manual wheelchair in seconds, lifts the front caster wheels off the ground, and provides motorized all-terrain drive assistance via a 250W motor, reaching speeds up to 10 km/h with a 25 km range and a swappable battery. Founded by two automotive engineers driven by a personal connection to disability, WheelMove aims to give people with reduced mobility the freedom to access new environments independently and affordably, without replacing their existing wheelchair.
