Amaury Dupas is Co-Founder and President of WheelMove, a French assistive technology startup developing a patented electric power-assist attachment that transforms any manual wheelchair into an all-terrain electric ride.
Amaury studied General Engineering at ICAM Lille and built a distinguished career in Quality, Industrialization, Mechatronics, and R&D at industry leaders including Toyota, Valeo, and Plastic Omnium.
Inspired by a personal connection to mobility challenges, Amaury co-founded WheelMove with the mission of making the world more accessible to people with reduced mobility.
WheelMove was incubated at Poclain and has secured institutional backing from BPIFrance, Handilab, APF France Handicap, HEC Challenge+ Paris, and the Fondation Hopale.
WheelMove showcased its innovation at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, has secured over 15 pre-orders and letters of intent from resellers in Spain, Belgium, Germany, and Australia, with European distribution planned for 2026 and a US market entry targeted for 2027-2029.
