Alta Ares is a French AI-first defense technology startup that builds integrated air defense systems for detecting, identifying, tracking, and intercepting attack drones, cruise missiles, and glide bombs. Founded from direct battlefield experience in Ukraine, the company developed its proprietary edge-AI software Pixel-Lock, which processes drone video feeds in real time without cloud connectivity to autonomously guide interceptor drones. Its systems are live in Ukraine and the Middle East, backed by NATO validation, and the company operates offices in Paris, Kyiv, New York, and Athens.
