Axoft is a neurotechnology company developing bio-inspired implantable Brain-Computer Interfaces (iBCIs) built on its proprietary Fleuron material, which is up to 10,000x softer than conventional polyimide used in existing brain implants. By combining materials science, electronics, and AI, Axoft's 1,024-sensor iBCI platform enables high-fidelity, long-term neural signal capture with minimal tissue scarring, targeting neurological disorders such as disorders of consciousness, paralysis, and depression. The company holds FDA Breakthrough Device Designation, has completed first-in-human clinical trials in 11 patients worldwide, and has active collaborations with Mass General Brigham and The Panama Clinic. Fleuron is also commercially available for broader biomedical research applications under exclusive licenses from Harvard and Stanford Universities.
