MiMARK Diagnostics is a femtech spinoff from the Vall d'Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) that is reshaping gynecological diagnostics through the use of gynecological fluids as a novel liquid biopsy source. Its flagship product, WomEC, is an in vitro diagnostic immunoassay for endometrial cancer that analyzes protein biomarkers in uterine fluid samples, achieving 99% sensitivity and 87% specificity. The company is expanding its pipeline to address additional gynecological conditions including endometriosis and ovarian cancer.
