Proprio Robotics is a physical AI and robotics company building autonomous robots to manage the full lifecycle of AI compute infrastructure, including onshore server assembly, 24/7 live data center maintenance, and decommissioning of previous-generation servers to recover reusable components such as GPUs and memory. Founded by robotics researchers from Berkeley AI Research and Harvard, Proprio addresses a critical gap in the data center supply chain, which remains heavily manual and unable to keep pace with surging AI infrastructure demand. The company is backed by Y Combinator (S26) and is actively pursuing commercial data center deployments.
