Anirudh Pai is Co-Founder of Proprio Robotics (YC S26), a physical AI and robotics company building autonomous systems to operate the entire data center lifecycle, from server assembly to maintenance and decommissioning.
Anirudh studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at UC Berkeley (2022-2025), where he was an undergraduate researcher at Berkeley AI Research (BAIR) and also held a role at Meta.
Anirudh collaborated with NVIDIA researchers to develop precise models for dexterous, tactile-aware robotic manipulation, giving him a deep technical edge in physical AI for high-precision tasks.
Alongside co-founder Raghav Punnam (Harvard), Anirudh built Proprio Robotics and was accepted into Y Combinator's Summer 2026 batch, validating the team's vision for autonomous data center infrastructure.
With over $7 trillion projected to flow into data center buildout over the next five years, Proprio Robotics is targeting a massive gap in the compute supply chain by deploying robots that can assemble servers onshore, maintain live data centers 24/7, and recover reusable components like GPUs from retired hardware.
