Samara Aerospace develops innovative spacecraft and satellite design solutions, including the modular Hummingbird satellite bus. The company's proprietary MSAC (Multifunctional Structures for Attitude Control) technology uses piezoelectric actuators embedded in solar panel hinges to achieve precise attitude control and active jitter cancellation without traditional reaction wheels. This breakthrough enables flat satellite designs that reduce launch costs and improve stability by 1,000x compared to traditional systems. Samara's technology addresses critical challenges in deploying mega-constellations for Earth observation, optical communications, and space-based internet connectivity.
