sequestra is a Vienna-based ClimateTech startup that accelerates the natural process of CO2 mineralisation, converting carbon dioxide into stable, rock-like carbonates within hours using industrial waste materials such as steel slag, incinerator ash, and construction residues. Its machine learning-powered, modular and containerised technology platform offers a one-stop-shop for CO2 carbonation, enabling heavy industries to permanently store up to 300 kg of CO2 per tonne of feedstock while transforming costly waste streams into reusable building materials.
