Abhijit Chandrasekaran is Co-Founder and Head of Risk, Partnerships and Finance at Xflow, a Bengaluru-based fintech building cross-border payment infrastructure for Indian businesses. He co-founded Xflow in 2021 with former Stripe colleagues to modernize B2B international payments.

Abhijit holds an MBA from IIM Calcutta and a Master's in Management Studies from MIT Sloan, where his thesis focused on money market fund structures in Asia. He worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Bank of NY Mellon, and spent several years at Citibank across New York, Dubai and Singapore in regional risk oversight managing complex Asia portfolios.

Before Xflow, Abhijit co-founded Upraise Labs in 2015, a robo-advisory platform for mutual fund investments. He also worked at Stripe as APAC Head of Credit Risk, bringing deep expertise in FX markets, credit risk management, and fintech product development.

Xflow raised $16.6M in Series A led by General Catalyst with backing from Stripe, PayPal Ventures, Square Peg and Lightspeed, bringing total funding to over $32M at an $85M valuation. The company secured full PA-CB licenses from RBI for both exports and imports.

Xflow serves 15,000 businesses and processed close to $1 billion in annualized payment volume in 2025, achieving 10x growth. The platform enables payments from 100+ countries in 25+ currencies, with its AI-powered FX tool helping businesses optimize foreign exchange decisions and save significantly on conversion costs.
