Adam Rida is the Founder of Tracer, a Y Combinator-backed AI research lab building more capable and efficient AI through adaptive inference and open-source model coordination.
Adam was a PhD candidate at Sorbonne University and CNRS researching ML interpretability, and holds a Master's in Applied Mathematics from CY Tech, complemented by the Ecole 42 coding program.
Adam created TRACER, an open-source LLM cost-optimization system that achieves 90%+ traffic offload on intent classification benchmarks, and DeltaXplainer, a novel explainable AI framework accepted at ECML-PKDD 2023.
Prior to Tracer, Adam held ML engineering and data science roles at Societe Generale, AXA, Qantev, and Rebellion Research, and scaled his prior venture DeepRecall to roughly 100k EUR ARR as a solo founder in under 3 months.
Tracer's open-source project has crossed 1,000 GitHub stars, and its flagship product Echo reaches frontier-level AI performance at roughly 1/3 the inference cost using only open-weight models.
