Adetayo Bamiduro is Co-Founder and CEO of MAX (Metro Africa Xpress), Africa's leading electric vehicle and vehicle subscription platform, on a mission to transform and decarbonize mobility across the continent.
Adetayo holds an MBA from MIT Sloan and an exchange MBA from London Business School, and previously held senior roles at Nigeria LNG and Konga before co-founding MAX out of MIT in 2015.
Prior to MAX, Adetayo launched a process control platform at Nigeria LNG that generated $100M in revenue within a year, and he is a Techstars NYC alumni founder.
MAX has raised over $70M from investors including Lightrock, Global Ventures, Novastar Ventures, Yamaha, Mastercard, Breakthrough Energy Ventures, and Shell Foundation, with its most recent $24M raise in early 2026.
MAX has empowered tens of thousands of commercial drivers across multiple African markets, completed over 17 million trips, and aims to support 250,000 drivers by 2027 while growing beyond $150M in annual recurring revenue.
