Adrian is Co-Founder of Dulo, a San Francisco startup building foundation models for hardware design with the mission of creating an Engineering Superintelligence.
Adrian ran Special Projects at Google, working as a right hand to Larry Page and leading AI efforts, and also advised the White House on the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. He studied at the University of Southern California and is an instrument-rated commercial aircraft and helicopter pilot.
Adrian previously founded Wavii, which was acquired by Google, and holds the view to 'care deeply about the problem, not about your idea.' He is also an investor in 300+ startups and 100+ funds.
Adrian co-founded Dulo with Sebastian Thrun, and the company reportedly closed a $130M seed round backed by Eric Schmidt, John Doerr, DST Global, Construct Capital and Lowercarbon Capital. He also founded Forward, the AI doctor's office behind the CarePod, which raised $300M+, and later Torch, acquired by OpenAI for $100M+.
Dulo's seed ranks above the 99th percentile of all-time US robotics seed rounds by size. The company aims to let engineers input parameters and receive viable designs for products like airplanes or cars.
