Aidan Ng is Co-Founder and CEO of Verdant (YC S26), an AI-native permitting and land-use software platform purpose-built for local governments across the United States.

Aidan studied International Politics at Georgetown University and spent three years across the government space, including roles at the DOJ, USDA, Capitol Hill, and Deloitte Government and Public Services.

After observing how outdated legacy systems constrained execution across every corner of government, Aidan partnered with co-founder Jason Yi and interviewed over 200 local government staff nationwide to identify where software could move the needle most.

Prior to Verdant, Aidan built commercial real estate underwriting models as a business analyst at Capital One, giving him a strong foundation in data-driven decision-making and financial analysis.

Verdant is part of Y Combinator's Summer 2026 batch and is modernizing the permitting process for local governments by automating document review, flagging compliance issues, and drafting staff reports end-to-end.
