Alankrit Chona is Co-Founder and CTO at Simbian, an AI security operations platform that uses autonomous agents to detect, investigate, and respond to threats. He is building the world's most trusted AI security partner to deliver fully autonomous security operations.

Alankrit graduated from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi with a B.Tech in Computer Science and worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Twitter specializing in Scala and real-time notifications infrastructure. He was also a Founding Engineer at Spotnana, Afterpay, and Kanmon.

Alankrit has extensive experience in high-scale platforms and data engineering, with expertise in Java, Scala, Ruby on Rails, and distributed systems. He co-founded Simbian in March 2023 alongside Ambuj Kumar, emerging from stealth in April 2024 with $10M in seed funding.

Simbian raised $10M from leading investors including Cota Capital, Icon Ventures, Firebolt, and Rain Capital, plus 15 notable angel investors including Datadog CEO Olivier Pomel and former Meta CSO Joe Sullivan. The company is based in Mountain View, California.

Simbian's platform features patent-pending TrustedLLM technology and serves enterprise SOC teams with AI agents that autonomously triage alerts, conduct threat hunts, and perform penetration testing. The platform integrates with diverse IT environments to maximize security coverage and expedite resolutions.
